Like fellow AV idols Maria Ozawa and Anna Ohura, Yuzuki is of mixed-race parentage. Her father is Japanese and her mother is Portuguese, and she learned to speak Portuguese from her mother. She was raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil that's why she chose Rio as her AV name. She chose her AV surname carnival due to her favorite sexual position. Tina is now considered as one of the most beautiful actress and in 2006 AV Grand Prix in Tokyo, she won Best New Actress award.
